Essential Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software (ETAP, Digsilent, Microstation/AutoCAD, etc.)
- Perform technical drawing reviews and QA/QC to ensure specifications, standards, and requirements are met
- Perform various simulations and studies
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
- Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
- Provide support in developing RFP/RFQ proposals
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of the disciplines of electrical power engineering such as substation automation, power system, and high voltage
- Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Fluent in English (all team communication will be conducted in English)
- Initiative and can work under minimal supervision
- Willing to work remotely
